I am a board-certified psychiatrist with over a decade of experience helping patients of all ages achieve mental wellness. With triple board certification in Adult, Child & Adolescent, and Forensic Psychiatry, along with expertise in geriatric care, I offer a holistic and evidence-based approach. Our Services

Psychiatric Evaluations and Consultations

This initial assessment is designed as an interview to gather detailed medical and psychiatric history, evaluate symptoms, discuss diagnoses, answer your questions and provide treatment recommendations. Recommendations may include, but are not limited to, psychiatric medications, specific psychotherapy modalities, and/or further diagnostic assessments.

Children and Adolescents: 90 minutes
Adults: 60 minutes

Follow-up and Medication Management

Follow-up appointments serve to assess a patients progress towards their treatment goals, monitor response and tolerability of prescribed medications, and to provide additional information about diagnoses and treatment options if applicable.
Medication management involves prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications to manage mental health conditions effectively. This includes discussing potential benefits, side effects, and adjustments as needed.

Children and Adolescents: 40 minutes
Adults: 30 minutes

What to Expect

Prior to booking your first appointment, please call or submit a form online to request a 15 minute, free consultation. During your free consultation, we will ask questions to determine if our practice is able to meet your needs. If you choose to proceed, you will receive a link to schedule your appointment online.

Initial Assesments

This first session which lasts 60 minutes for adults, and 90 minutes for children and families. This session will involve a comprehensive evaluation, including discussions about medical and psychiatric history, current concerns, and treatment goals. We will discuss potential treatment options tailored to your needs and work together to develop a personalized treatment plan and a plan for follow-up care. Initial assessments are offered in-person, on select days of the week, or virtually for your convenience.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

During your first appointment, please bring any relevant medical records, a list of current medications, and any previous psychiatric evaluations. It’s also helpful to write down your symptoms and any questions you may have.

How long will the first appointment last?

The initial assessment typically lasts 60 minutes for adults and 90 minutes for children and families. This allows ample time for a comprehensive evaluation and discussion of your mental health concerns.

What can I expect during my first visit?

You can expect a warm welcome, an overview of the assessment process, a discussion about your medical and psychiatric history, a mental status examination, and an exploration of your treatment goals. The psychiatrist will collaboratively discuss potential treatment options with you.

Will my appointment be confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a top priority. All discussions and records related to your treatment are kept private, in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines. The psychiatrist will provide you with more information about confidentiality during your first appointment.



How do I schedule an appointment?

Appointments can be scheduled by calling our office directly or using our online booking system, if available. Please ensure you have your insurance information handy if applicable.

What types of payment do you accept?

I work in private practice, so patients pay me directly via credit card or check. I am an out-of-network provider for insurances, and will give a receipt for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement.

How frequently will I need to come for appointments?

The frequency of appointments will depend on your individual treatment plan and needs. Initially, you may have more frequent visits, which may taper off as you progress in your treatment.

Can I receive therapy and medication management during the same appointment?

Yes, many patients receive both therapy and medication management during their appointments. The psychiatrist will work with you to determine the best approach for your mental health care.
